The global educational movement supporting the messages of Conversations with God

We are now proud to say that The Group of 1000 has completed its mission.  We have done what we have set out to do.  Our purpose was to raise the consciousness of as many people as possible to both the opportunities and challenges of creating a new world by supporting the undertakings and endeavors which have been put into place to share the message of Conversations with God and of The New Spirituality around the world.  Our initial intention was to bring together a group of people who, through the awakening possibilities we have placed before them, would contribute to those organizations supporting Conversations with God’s message through the mechanism that we provided.  While our membership never reached the numbers for which we had hoped, the dedication and commitment of those who did join with us far surpassed anything most of us could have imagined.  Our members have gifted all those whose lives have been touched in a positive way by Conversations with God with the possibility of that experience.  It is through our members that their lives have been made better, and it is because of the dedicated members of The Group of 1000 and their determination to play a meaningful role in our world that souls have been uplifted, minds have been opened and hearts have been healed.  

Through the years we have heard from members who have asked whether it would be possible to contribute directly to the organizations which G1K supports, and the answer, of course, has always been yes.  We merely existed as a vehicle designed to make the flow of such contributions easier.  As time has gone by, we have heard from our members of their desire to directly support not only the non-profit groups that we support but also other groups around the world doing similar work.  Thus, we have done what we set out to do—motivated and generated a new layer and a new level of energy and financial support for groups and organizations which might not otherwise have received it.  

In this time of financial challenge for people around the globe it seems prudent for us now to remove the mechanism of The Group of 1000, thus eliminating the administrative expense of its modest operation allowing funds to flow directly to the intended recipients.  For this reason, we have determined to close the operations of The Group of 1000 with our deepest gratitude and eternal appreciation to all of its many members for their participation in this undertaking.
