One of the organizations supported by The Group of 1000 is Humanity's Team. Humanity�s Team is a worldwide spiritual movement whose purpose is to communicate and implement the belief that we are all one, one with God and one with Life, in a shared global state of being, so that the behavior of humanity may shift to reflect this understanding. Dubbed “a civil rights movement for the soul,” the movement has some 15,000 adherents in more than 90 countries on six continents -- people who work closely together, in communities large and small, to foster the emergence of the New Spirituality.

The New Spirituality enlarges and enhances humanity’s current beliefs about God and about Life in ways that could change how we live with each other, bringing peace and harmony to our planet at last. It is not a new religion. Rather, it is an expansion of all our present theologies; an updating of them; a refreshing of them, rendering all of our current sacred teachings even more relevant to our present day and time. Key to the New Spirituality is a belief that God is not separate from anything -- and neither are we.

Humanity’s Team seeks to accomplish its mission by creating and facilitating weekly Celebration of Life community gatherings, regular New Spirituality study groups, local and worldwide campaigns and events, and homegrown grassroots initiatives. The movement also distributes free daily inspirational e-mail messages through its New Spirituality Network to anyone who wishes to subscribe.
